Château de Jau White AOP Côtes du Roussillon BIO

Description

Varietal: 50% Vermentino, 30% Grenache Blanc, 20% Maccabeu

Terroir: schistose marl on the hillsides and clay-limestone on the flat parts along the edge of the Agly. Mediterranean climate.

Vinification: harvested early in the morning, the different grape varieties are vinified separately, part of the Grenache will be fermented in barrels. Blending and bottling carried out in December.

Ageing: In vats and barrels on fine lees then in bottle in our cellar.

Tasting: Pale gold colour, notes of fruit and white flowers, round, fresh and complex wine on the palate in harmony with the nose, finish with slightly vanilla notes.

Food and wine pairing: baked fish, grilled prawns
