Château de Jau Rosé AOP Côtes du Roussillon BIO

Description

Grape varieties: 70% Syrah, 15% Grenache Noir, 15% Carignan

Terroir: Schistose marl on the hillsides and clay-limestone on the flat parts bordering the Agly.

Vinification: Harvested early in the morning, we press directly to obtain an airy wine with a delicate robe. The must is then decanted by cold. The three grape varieties ferment separately in stainless steel tanks at low temperature. Constant protection against oxygen to preserve the aromatic potential of the wine. The grape varieties are then
blended and bottled after 2 months of aging on fine lees.

Tasting: Very pale pink color, floral nose with citrus notes. On the palate, lively attack, mineral and fruity (strawberry, currant). Nice balance between acidity and roundness, while keeping an airy side. Great aromatic persistence.
